Louis La Roche announces new single and new album
‘I Found You’ is out today and is the first single taken from the seventh Louis La Roche studio album ‘The New Now’.
‘I Found You’ feels like a new chapter. Sun-drenched, euphoric, and exactly where he wants to be in 2026. “I’ve been holding onto this one for a while, and seeing it finally come to life alongside these visuals feels special”, explains Louis. “This album took thirteen months to complete, and I’m so happy with the way it turned out. It’s Electronic, it’s Pop, happy and sad. It feels organic and alive. Joyful and playful.”
The album is about the absurdity of modern life. How we’re told it’s “business as usual”, while the environment around us feels completely alien. AI, misinformation, the climate timebomb, inequality and wars. Louis wanted the artwork to represent the feeling of being prepared for a world you don't quite recognize yet. This album is the soundtrack for those of us who are “clocked out” mentally but still “clocked in” physically. ‘The New Now’ is a representation of the power of the arts. Music is the expressive medium that transcends language and barriers. It’s the escapism and the comfort that keeps us going when things get dark.
“I refuse to let the state of the world get me down. We fight hate with love, and that’s what this album’s message is all about”, Louis tells us. “So much love went into making this record and I'll be sharing a bunch of singles with you over the next few months. I can’t wait for you all to hear what’s in store.”
‘The New Now’ is released July 31st on Ever After Records.
